This 1956 Austin-Healey 100M BN2 roadster is one of 640 factory-built “Le Mans” examples produced over a 10-month span. It was restored by Fourintune Garage in Cedarburg, Wisconsin, in the 1990s and underwent mechanical refreshes in 2011 and 2024. Finished in two-tone red and black over black vinyl, the car is powered by a 2.7-liter inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Equipment includes a removable black soft top, 15? knock-off wire wheels, a tonneau cover, an adjustable windshield, fog lights, removable side curtains, a heater, and bucket seats. This 100M was acquired by the current owner in 2022 and is now offered in California on dealer consignment by Mohr Imports, a BaT local partner, with a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, service records, spare parts, a spare set of painted 15? wheels, and a transferable New York registration.

The chrome 15? knock-off wire wheels were mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires in 2024. Braking is handled by drums at each corner. A Bilstein tube shock conversion was performed and replacement splined front hubs were installed in 2011. Work in January 2024 at Taormina Imports included refacing the brake drums, fitting replacement front wheel cylinders, brake hoses, and hard lines, and installing a 3/4? sway bar. The rear shock brackets were repaired at that time, which involved the removal of corroded metal and the fabrication of reinforcement plates.

The 100M-specification 2.7-liter inline-four added larger carburetors, a cold air box, a higher-lift camshaft, and 8.1:1-compression pistons. An engine rebuild at British Car Specialists in Stockton, Californian in 2011 included boring the cylinders, grinding the crankshaft, and installing replacement pistons, valves, bearings, and timing components. An aluminum fuel tank and replacement fuel lines were also installed at that time. Service in January 2024 included rebuilding the carburetors, replacing the fuel pump, fuel hoses, distributor cap, rotor, and points, and changing the fluids.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. In 2011, the transmission was resealed, and a lightweight flywheel and replacement clutch were installed. A header exhaust system was also fitted.
